Scotland Students Head Coach Nathan Graham is taking his squad to Keighley this weekend as they face up against Keighley Cougars reserves at Cougar Park.

It’s our second outing for for the squad. Keighley have a strong side out so it will be a good challenge. We have gone through the video of the Halifax game and the lads have been shown a few areas where they can be a little smarter.

Gavin Reed and Luke Walters will be facing up against their club team mates on Saturday for the first time as part of the Student squad. Emmerson Whittel returning from injury is one of nine first team players made available to the Keighley Reserves by Craig Lingard.

It’s a learning curve for people and I know that everything we do is a positive step towards Sydney. We are trying to build a good solid attitude throughout the group which showed up in the Halifax game despite the result. I’m sure all the boys will be looking forward to getting together again and and having a good hit out.

The game is a 3pm kick off at Cougar Park with admission prices set at £5 for Adults, £3 for Concessions and £1 for Juniors.
