Strathmore Silverbacks are seeking a new Team Manager!
The Silverbacks, who play at Inchmacoble, Forfar, were founded in 2015 and compete in the Scottish National League. In their first four seasons they have been Scottish Champions once, in 2017, earning the right to compete in the 2018 Challenge Cup, and finished runners up in every other season. The team has produced Scottish internationalists at Under 16, Under 19, Student and Club XIII level and three players represented Scotland in the Under 23 Commonwealth Championship in Australia in 2018.
In order to grow the player base and ensure the sustainability of the team we are now seeking a new Team Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating availability of players, arranging travel, liaising with the Head Coach, managing social media communication and developing playing partnerships with local rugby union clubs. Communication and organisational skills are key for the role.
This will be unpaid voluntary role but reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
