The voting for the Scotland RL Nines Player of the Year was extremely tight, with three players only separated by a few points.
Captain Matt Hogg of Edinburgh Eagles/Newcastle University and Dapto Canaries Curtis Faughlin were narrowly beaten to the award by Berkeley RLFC’s Luke Westman.
Westman was named in the Commonwealth 9s team of the tournament following his displays in all of Scotland matches during the two days of competition
Westman is the second player to pick up this award.
