Scotland rugby league are committed to the growth of disability rugby league and the opportunity for everyone to participate in the sport across Scotland.
As part of our journey to the Physical Disability and Wheelchair World Cup this autumn and in addition to our partnership with Community Integrated Care will be holding a number of disability and wheelchair development days.
The first of these development days will be on the 29th of May, at Peffermill Playing Fields, Edinburgh.
Disability development days will be open to any player with a learning or physical disability that can participate in outdoor activity without the use of an aid such as a wheelchair.
Across our 2021 development days we will ensure that every player gets the best experience possible. This means those requiring additional support can have an enabler on the pitch and those that can take reduced contact will be highlighted as such.
Development days will consist of a short coaching session in the morning from our National Physical Disability team coaches and support staff and a series of competitive fixtures in the afternoon.
